We use session cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service, including to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes. Where GDPR applies, we identify the lawful basis for each category of processing.

We have assessed that these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms, given the measures we take to protect individual privacy.
Safety, Fraud Prevention, and Legal Compliance. We process your data to detect and prevent fraud or unauthorised activity, to comply with applicable legal obligations, and to enforce our Terms of Service. Lawful basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR); legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your name, email address, or account credentials to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:
If you elect to share an evaluation publicly via a share link or the community feed, that evaluation, including its flavor profile, tasting notes, and product details, will be visible to other users and, depending on your settings, to the general public. You may revoke public sharing at any time through your account settings, though we cannot guarantee that content previously accessed by others has not been retained.

We retain your account information and Evaluation Data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup, archival, legal, and business continuity purposes. On account deletion, we will remove or anonymise your personal account data, subject to legal retention obligations.
Aggregated or de-identified datasets derived from your Evaluation Data are not personal data and are not subject to deletion on account closure.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you and, where required, relevant authorities, in the event of a data breach affecting your personal data.
